Mario, a sensitive young dancer, finds the daily life of his small Italian village challenging. When he reunites with Lenz, a former childhood friend who moved to Rome to become an actor, he becomes fixated. Inspired, Mario decides to follow his friend to the big city. When the pair meet in a gay bar, however, the night takes a tragic turn... one that will alter the course of Mario's life forever.
